Hajj 2025: Key Dates and Requirements for Umrah Pilgrims
Saudi Arabia has announced important dates for Hajj 2025, especially for Umrah pilgrims. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has set June 6, 2025 (Dhul Qadah 29, 1446H) as the last day for Umrah visitors to leave the Kingdom. Pilgrims must leave by this date, as their Umrah visa is valid for 90 days from entry, not from issuance. After this date, extensions or changes to visa types will not be allowed.
Final Day for Umrah Permits
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has also set a deadline for issuing Umrah permits. June 4, 2025 (Dhul Qadah 15, 1446H) will be the final day for getting these permits. This will help manage the flow of pilgrims and ensure that preparations for the Hajj 2025 season run smoothly. Pilgrims should plan to complete their paperwork well in advance of this date to avoid any delays.

Health and Safety Protocols for Pilgrims
In preparation for the large number of pilgrims expected for Umrah and Hajj 2025, Saudi Arabia has introduced new health requirements. All pilgrims must receive mandatory vaccinations. These include vaccines for meningococcal meningitis, polio, yellow fever, COVID-19, and seasonal flu. Travelers coming from polio-endemic countries must also receive the polio vaccine. Those from areas affected by yellow fever will need to be vaccinated too.
Additionally, pilgrims are advised to carry health-related documents and medications. They should also take necessary precautions to protect themselves from mosquito-borne diseases, which can be a concern in some regions.
Ensuring a Smooth and Safe Hajj 2025
Saudi Arabia is focused on ensuring that the Hajj 2025 season runs smoothly and safely. By setting clear deadlines for Umrah departures and introducing health protocols, the Kingdom aims to keep pilgrims safe and make the experience more organized. Pilgrims should stay updated on all guidelines and follow official instructions closely. This will help avoid any issues during the pilgrimage.
By following these guidelines, pilgrims can contribute to a safer and more efficient Hajj 2025 season. It’s essential to plan ahead, take care of health requirements, and stay informed about deadlines.
