Launched in December 2024, the service has expanded to cover key areas, including Al Reem and Al Maryah Islands. These islands are known for their high population density and complex traffic patterns, making them ideal locations for testing autonomous vehicles.
How Do the Robotaxis Work?

Booking a Ride
Booking a ride is simple. Users can download the TXAI or Uber app to hail a robotaxi. The app provides real-time tracking and digital payment options. Currently, rides are either free or offered at a low cost to encourage public adoption.
