Celebrating RTA’s 20th Anniversary in Dubai
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is marking its 20th anniversary with a month-long celebration filled with exciting offers and activities. From October 22 to November 30, commuters and visitors can enjoy special deals, exclusive giveaways, and fun challenges across the city.
Limited-Edition Nol Cards
Throughout November, RTA is offering exclusive 20th-anniversary Nol cards. These collectible cards are available at all Dubai Metro stations from ticket vending machines (TVMs) and ticket kiosks. They serve as both travel cards and memorable keepsakes.
Cinema and Online Shopping Discounts
From November 1 to 5, enjoy 20% off cinema tickets at Roxy Cinemas using the promo code RTA20. The same code also offers a 20% cashback on online orders from Noon during this period. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy entertainment and shopping at discounted rates.
Tram Rider Rewards
Frequent tram riders have a chance to win The Entertainer UAE 2026 booklet, which includes over 10,000 2-for-1 offers across dining, attractions, and more. This promotion runs from October 22 to November 2.
Tourist Photo Challenge
Visitors arriving at Dubai International Airport between October 28 and November 1 can participate in the Tourist Photo Challenge. Participants will receive a welcome pack and may be featured on RTA’s social media channels.
Interactive Events on November 1
November 1 will feature several interactive events across the city:
- 20-Second Gift Grab: At Al Ghubaiba Bus Station (9–11 am) and Insurance Market Metro Station (11 am–1 pm), visitors can step into the RTA20 booth and grab as many gifts as possible in 20 seconds.
- Photobooth and Art Frame: At BurJuman Metro Station (9 am–5 pm), commuters can pose at giant art frames and take home a digital photo copy from an interactive photobooth.
- Balloons and Smiles: RTA will distribute balloons and smiles at various locations, including BurJuman Metro Station (9 am), Onpassive Metro Station, Sobha Realty Tram Station (10 am), Insurance Market Metro Station, and Umm Ramool Customer Happiness Centre (11 am).
Giveaways at Metro Stations
From November 1 to 15, Emirates NBD kiosks at BurJuman, Union, and Mall of the Emirates Metro Stations will offer giveaways and information about the Go4it Card, a hybrid Nol and banking card.
These celebrations underscore RTA’s commitment to enhancing the commuting experience and engaging with the community. Commuters are encouraged to participate in the events and take advantage of the special offers throughout the anniversary month.
