IPL 2025 Suspended Due to India-Pakistan Tension
The Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) has been suspended. The reason is rising tension between India and Pakistan. This decision came after a match in Dharamshala was disrupted. A government blackout stopped the game between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals.

The BCCI said the safety of players and fans is key. Because of the tense situation, they paused the league for one week. The remaining 12 matches and playoffs were set for May 20–25. These games are now on hold.
