UAE Launches Drive to Become World’s Entrepreneurship Capital

The UAE has set a bold new target. HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid announced a campaign to make the country the World’s Entrepreneurship Capital. The plan will support young Emiratis and open thousands of new jobs.

Training Young Entrepreneurs

The campaign aims to train 10,000 young entrepreneurs in five years. It will also create 30,000 jobs. More than 50 public and private partners are backing this effort. These include schools, business groups, and government teams.

Startup Emirates Platform

A new platform called Startup Emirates is part of the plan. It will connect founders with mentors and investors. The platform also offers free courses, shared spaces, and global links. This makes it easier for startups to grow faster.

Key Programs

The campaign includes many focused programs:

  • Project managers: 500 Emiratis will be trained in building projects.

  • Tax agents: 500 will learn skills in VAT and company tax.

  • Real estate: 250 will set up licensed real estate companies.

  • Content creators: 50 will learn to share stories about business.

  • Youth fairs: Schools and universities will showcase projects and ideas.

These programs give Emiratis a clear path to start and grow.

Boosting Small Businesses

Small and medium firms already play a huge role. They make up 95% of companies and 63% of the non-oil economy. The new campaign gives them more tools, access, and chances to sell to the government.

Building the Future

The UAE wants to stand as the World’s Entrepreneurship Capital. The campaign links young energy with real training, funding, and spaces. It also invites global talent to join the journey.

With strong leadership and clear goals, the UAE is building a stronger economy. For many young people, this is not just training. It is a chance to turn ideas into real businesses and help shape the future.
