RTA to Build New Two-Lane Bridge in Nad Al Sheba
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced plans to build a two-lane bridge in Nad Al Sheba. The project will make travel easier for thousands of people living in the area. It will also help reduce traffic on key roads and improve connections for drivers coming from Dubai–Al Ain Road.
A New Road Link for Better Travel
The two-lane bridge in Nad Al Sheba will stretch around 700 metres. It is designed to carry up to 2,600 vehicles every hour. Once completed, it will offer a direct route from Dubai–Al Ain Road to Nad Al Sheba.

Right now, the drive from the highway to the community takes six minutes. After the bridge opens, this will drop to just one minute. That means drivers will save time and avoid traffic jams.
Supporting a Growing Community
Around 30,000 people live in Nad Al Sheba. With more families moving in, the area needs better roads. This bridge will ease congestion at entry and exit points across the neighborhood.
It will also help the city manage its fast population growth and new housing developments. This makes life easier for people who drive to work, school, or shopping areas every day.
Construction Timeline
The construction of the two-lane bridge in Nad Al Sheba will begin in the last quarter of 2025. RTA plans to finish the project by the end of 2026.
The work will follow strict safety and quality standards. RTA is making sure the project does not affect nearby homes and businesses during construction.
RTA’s Commitment to Better Roads
This project is part of RTA’s efforts to improve Dubai’s roads. The authority is focused on building safe, modern, and efficient transport systems.
By improving traffic flow and cutting travel times, RTA is helping residents spend less time in traffic. That means more time with family, less fuel use, and fewer traffic problems.
A Smoother, Faster Future
The new two-lane bridge in Nad Al Sheba shows Dubai’s focus on smart planning and future-ready roads. Once the bridge opens, drivers will enjoy smoother, faster, and safer journeys.
This project will bring real benefits to Nad Al Sheba and support Dubai’s growth for years to come.
