Sharjah International Summit on Education Improvement

The fourth edition of the Sharjah International Summit on Education Improvement will take place on February 23-24, 2025. Experts and policymakers will discuss innovative education models and strategies to balance affordability and excellence.

Sharjah schools generally have lower tuition fees than those in Dubai. British, IB, and American curricula cost 30 to 50 percent less in Sharjah. The absence of ultra-premium schools with extravagant facilities keeps costs lower while ensuring quality education, Sharjah’s education models affordable and High-Quality Schooling are main focus.

Global Best Practices and Cost-Effective Solutions

Experts at the summit will explore how different countries have reduced education costs without compromising quality. Innovative solutions, such as technology-driven learning, public-private partnerships, and streamlined operations, help maintain excellence while reducing financial burdens.

Chair of the Scientific Committee at the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), emphasized learning from global education models. “We aim to understand different models, how they work, and why they succeed,” he said.

Attracting Investment in Education

Sharjah is actively encouraging investment to enhance education. The new strategy includes investment bundles to support investors in launching schools and educational programs with government backing.

New Centre for Special Education Needs

Sharjah is launching a new center dedicated to Students of Determination. This initiative aims to provide specialized services tailored to their unique learning requirements.

Director of the Continuous Improvement Department at SPEA, announced the launch of the Special Education Needs Excellence Centre. “This center will support local and expatriate students and offer a global inclusive education course,” he said.
