New Dubai Parking Rates Set to Change from April 4

Peak Pricing Confirmed for Six Hours Daily in New Dubai

New Dubai parking areas will introduce variable pricing starting April 4. Parkin, the operator, confirmed peak pricing for six out of fourteen chargeable hours daily. The company aims to manage congestion and optimize traffic flow with these changes.

Off-Peak Hours Remain Unchanged in New Dubai

Tariffs for off-peak hours (10 AM-4 PM and 8 PM-10 PM) remain unchanged. Additionally, Sundays and public holidays will continue to be free. Parkin previously planned an end-March launch but adjusted the timeline for better implementation.

Zone A Parking Rates

Premium on-street parking in Zone A will follow these rates:

• 30 minutes: Dh3 (peak), Dh2 (off-peak)
• 1 hour: Dh6 (peak), Dh4 (off-peak)
• 2 hours: Dh12 (peak), Dh8 (off-peak)
• 3 hours: Dh18 (peak), Dh12 (off-peak)
• 4 hours: Dh24 (peak), Dh16 (off-peak)

For standard parking in Zone A, the rates are:

• 30 minutes: Dh2
• 1 hour: Dh4
• 2 hours: Dh8
• 3 hours: Dh12
• 4 hours: Dh16

Zone B Parking Rates

Premium rates for Zone B are as follows:

• 1 hour: Dh6 (peak), Dh3 (off-peak)
• 2 hours: Dh12 (peak), Dh6 (off-peak)
• 3 hours: Dh18 (peak), Dh9 (off-peak)
• 4 hours: Dh24 (peak), Dh12 (off-peak)

Meanwhile, standard rates for Zone B include:

• 1 hour: Dh4 (peak), Dh3 (off-peak)
• 2 hours: Dh8 (peak), Dh6 (off-peak)
• 3 hours: Dh12 (peak), Dh9 (off-peak)

New Pricing Aims for Better Traffic Flow

To improve parking efficiency, New Dubai parking rate changes focus on reducing congestion. Moreover, Parkin introduced Dh25 per hour rates for event areas earlier this year. These new pricing strategies will enhance traffic management, particularly during peak hours and major events.
