Mayank Agarwal is back with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2025. He joined the team mid-season as a replacement for an injured player. This move marks his return to the team where his IPL career started back in 2011.

Before joining RCB, Mayank Agarwal played brilliantly in domestic cricket. He led Karnataka in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and scored 428 runs in just five games. He also hit three back-to-back centuries. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he stayed in top form. These performances showed he was ready for another shot at the IPL.

Surprisingly, Mayank Agarwal went unsold in the IPL 2025 auction held in Jeddah. But he never gave up. Before the auction, he said he would love to return to RCB. Being from Bengaluru, he felt a special connection with the team.
