Solar-Powered Efficiency and Design
The car features a sunroof that generates 1 kWh of energy daily under Indian sunlight conditions. Its solar panel adds 10-12 kilometers of range daily, allowing drivers to enjoy 3,000 km of yearly sun-powered driving. This innovative design reduces dependence on external charging stations, contributing to a more eco-friendly lifestyle.
Compact Build for Urban Traffic
Vayve designed EVA as a city car for easy navigation in congested urban traffic. It seats two adults and a child, offering a practical solution for small families or solo commuters. The compact size makes it perfect for tight city spaces, ensuring stress-free parking and maneuvering.
Variant Options for Flexible Choices
EVA offers three variants: Nova, Stella, and Vega. Each variant provides a battery capacity ranging from 9 kWh to 18 kWh, delivering a driving range of 125-250 kilometers per full charge. These options allow users to select based on their daily commuting needs, offering flexibility in performance.
Fast Charging and Reliable Battery Performance
The Nova variant supports fast charging, enabling drivers to charge from 10% to 70% with a DC charger. Vayve Mobility includes a 3-year/80,000 km warranty for the car and a 5-year warranty for the battery, ensuring long-term reliability and peace of mind for users.
Smart Features for Modern Users
Built on a monocoque chassis, EVA offers over-the-air updates, a diagnostics system, and smartphone connectivity, ensuring a seamless and smart user experience. The integrated technology makes the car an attractive choice for tech-savvy customers who value convenience and modern features in their vehicles.
Launch of CT5 Electric Taxi
Alongside EVA, Vayve Mobility also launched the CT5, an electric taxi for five passengers. Vayve designed this vehicle to cater to urban commuters with a practical and spacious solution, addressing the growing demand for sustainable, clean-energy public transport in cities.
Conclusion
India’s first solar car, EVA, is a game-changer for affordable, sustainable, and urban-friendly transportation. It sets a new benchmark for eco-conscious vehicles in India, offering an accessible, practical, and clean alternative to traditional cars while reducing the carbon footprint.
