Apple iPhone SE 4: Release Date, Price, and Features
Apple iPhone SE 4 Launch Date
Apple fans may not have to wait much longer for the new iPhone SE 4. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says Apple will announce the fourth-generation model next week. Earlier reports hinted at a release this week, but the timeline remains uncertain. Moreover, Apple also has multiple product announcements coming soon.
A smaller announcement is expected tomorrow, and Apple’s Vision Pro PR team has another update scheduled for Friday. In addition to this model, Apple plans to launch the M4 MacBook Air in the coming weeks. Furthermore, the M3 iPad Air and iPad 11 models should arrive within the next few months.
Design and Display
The latest iPhone SE 4 will feature a 6.1-inch OLED display, replacing the older LCD screen. Additionally, the design will resemble the iPhone 15, offering an all-screen look with Face ID support. As a result, Apple’s budget-friendly model will no longer have a Home button, providing a modern user experience.
Camera and Charging
The device will include a 48MP rear camera, a major upgrade from the previous 12MP lens. Notably, Apple will also introduce USB-C charging, eliminating the Lightning port. This change aligns with new regulations and Apple’s recent device updates.
Performance and Features
This model will likely feature an A16 or A17 Bionic chip, ensuring smooth performance. In addition, Apple may also enhance battery life, making it more efficient than its predecessor. Consequently, users can expect iOS 18 support and long-term software updates.
Price and Availability
Apple has not confirmed pricing, but analysts expect it to start under $500 (around Dh1,836). The slight price increase accounts for the OLED display and upgraded camera. Similarly, the previous model launched at $430 (approximately Dh1,579), making the new version slightly more expensive.
With product briefings scheduled for next week, an official Apple announcement is coming soon. Therefore, stay tuned for more details about Apple’s latest budget-friendly device.
