This card connects to your DEWA account, letting you charge your EV at over 300 DEWA charging stations across Dubai. It also simplifies payment, as charging fees are added directly to your monthly utility bill. Here’s a step-by-step guide to getting started.

Requirements for the DEWA Green Card

To apply, you need these documents:

Emirates ID

Valid vehicle license

Active DEWA account

How to Apply

1.Download the DEWA App: Navigate to the “EV Account and Charging Card Management” section. Log in using your DEWA ID or UAE Pass.

2.Fill Out the Application: Enter your vehicle details and pay the security deposit (AED 500) and delivery fee (AED 20).

3.Submit the Form: Once submitted, you’ll receive a reference number and activation instructions.

4.Receive the Card: The DEWA Green Card will arrive by courier within three working days.

Alternatively, you can apply via the DEWA website, the Dubai Now app, or a DEWA Customer Care Centre.

Using Your DEWA Green Card

Locate nearby charging stations through the DEWA or Dubai Now apps. At the station:

Scan your Green Card to start charging.

Plug in the charger.

When done, scan again to stop and unplug.

Charging fees will appear on your next DEWA bill.

No card? Use Guest Mode:
