UD Almeria Officially Acquired by Saudi Investment Group Led by SMC Group
UD Almeria announces that a Saudi investment group led by SMC Group, a major player in media, advertising, and sports in the Middle East, has successfully completed the full ownership transfer. This landmark deal, which includes key investors such as Abna Al Theeb Group, ushers in a new era for the club.
The club’s former owner, His Excellency Turki Al Al-Sheikh, finalized the transaction, and LaLiga along with relevant authorities are now reviewing it for final approval.
Mr. Mohammed Al-Khereiji will take on the role of Chairman of the Board, bringing a future-focused vision centered on innovation, long-term value creation, and commercial growth.
