The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) increases its AI investments by joining a $200 million seed round. Lila Sciences, a US-based life sciences firm, receives backing from ADIA’s wholly owned subsidiary. Financial terms remain undisclosed. The investment strengthens ADIA’s presence in AI-driven scientific research.
Flagship Pioneering, the Moderna-founded firm, supports Lila Sciences in its expansion efforts. Other investors include Blue Horizon Advisors, Modi Ventures, March Capital, ARK Venture Fund, and General Catalyst. The capital will accelerate AI platform development, autonomous lab operations, and infrastructure growth. Lila Sciences plans to scale AI-driven research capabilities globally.
