UAE Visa: Expanded Visa on Arrival for Indian Citizens

The UAE has expanded its visa-on-arrival program for Indian citizens. It now includes those with valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from six additional countries. The updated policy took effect on February 13, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for UAE Visa on Arrival

Indian citizens holding ordinary passports can now obtain a UAE visa on arrival. The visa is available to individuals with valid tourist visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada.

Previously, only Indian passport holders with visas or permits from the US, UK, or EU were eligible. The expanded list now offers more flexibility for Indian travelers.

Visa Duration and Cost

Indian citizens with eligible documents can stay in the UAE for up to 14 days. The visa may be extended once. The 14-day visa costs Dh200, while the 60-day visa costs Dh250. The 60-day visa is non-extendable.
