Egyptian Mahmoud Wahid won in 2018 for providing shelter to homeless seniors in Cairo. In 2020, Emirati Ahmed Al Falasi established kidney dialysis centers in Kenya.
2024 Hope Maker Prize Winner
Iraqi pharmacist Tala Al Khalil won the Hope Maker Prize in 2024. She provides care for cancer-stricken children and youngsters with special needs. Three other finalists received Dh1 million each to continue their humanitarian efforts. Their work showcases hope and change in action.
